One of the best multifloras around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devotion has been around for years, with similar multifloras of this type, released, however, Devotion, hasn’t been bettered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multiflora, Armour too, released just after, has similar flowers, of similar colour, however, has a darker ‘verigated’ leaf. Armour too, is stunning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key, to growing any multifloras, is to keep stopping ( removing the growing tips), when the new stems, are approximately, six inches long. This will cause side shoots to branch creating even more flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These, side shoots, can also be stopped and even more side shoots will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remove all flowers, until, the canopy is dense and then leave the formed canopy will be covered with blooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, feeding, is important, to keep the plant flowering profusely throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the growing season, the tubers wil increase in size, and in a year or two, will be massive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grow many of mine, in black,15lts buckets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are cheaper and do the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This basket of Isabella, has been grown and timed so that the three tubers have developed at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although this basket, was not exhibited, due to space in my car, it would have been an excellent example of a hanging basket for the show bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notice the canopy of blooms on top of the basket, that are not fully out yet. These will replace any blooms that may have ‘ gone past their best’ on show day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When exhibiting baskets, they should be staged, at least six feet high, so that the Judges’, have to look up, from below to see the canopy of blooms, cascading\/ or pendulaing downwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The tubererous varieties are lifted and used each year, and they get better each year.
